Purpose: to provide opportunity for the
leading edge researchers to engage the pressing issues faced
right now by BC educators.
Format: a 2-3 minute multi-media presentation/interview
with a UBC academic. A transcript and link to the researcher
and supporting research will be included.
Topics: Three are currently in development:
1/ Assessment; 2/ Early literacy; 3/; Early Childhood Education.
When: The first presentation will be available
October 3rd. A new topic and researcher will be presented
each month.
Your role in two parts:
- If you have a topic that is most pressing for your education
situation, send it in.
- Let
us know if this format is useful to you. It is expensive
to produce, and perhaps just a transcript will suffice,
but we thought we’d give it a try and see if it was
useful, if not provoking.
