Author Biography

Anita Parhar

is a doctoral candidate in Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia. Her dissertation engages the challenges of including minority parents in schools in British Columbia. Formerly a school teacher, Ms. Parhar conducts research for the School Leadership Centre in the areas of parent involvement and parent leadership. She is currently working on a research project to identify exemplary parent involvement across BC. She can be contacted at anitado@interchange.ubc.ca
